Argan Oil in Muslim Countries
Muslim countries all over the world are so rich in different aspects. Morocco is one of them. It is thought to be the home for Argan trees. These trees grow only in south-west of the country, but the area where argan trees grow play a vital role in food chain and the environment, though their numbers are declining.
“Argan Oil” is produced from agran trees and it is known that 1 liter of this oil takes 20 hours work. Its color is slightly darker than olive oil, with a reddish tinge. Because of its high price and limited availability, sellers are tempted to dilute it with cheaper oils. Some of them only contain olive oil with paprika or other substances.
